Plant Studies
For last week's work I focused on some still life studies of my plants and their adorable pots! I love Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki films so when I saw them I knew I had to get them! The two new plants are a palm and a spider plant which was a baby from my original plant. I have to say I find these two much easier to look after than my succulents so hopefully I can keep up having that green thumb. I know it might be considered a little sad, but plants help brighten my day and bring a bit of nature into the home too, so I thought I'd create some observational studies as prints while they look so healthy!

New Products
Although this week I haven't been too active I have been working on my Redouble and Society 6 products, eventually I'd love to get products like this manufactured myself for sale on Etsy, as I think it might encourage more people to see my work and hopefully would like to have items like these in their homes. I just feel a little lost with how to start the next step on how to make that dream a reality, I think this week I'm just going to spend plenty of time researching and researching!

Throwback Thursday Time For Spring
It's 'Throwback Thursday" again and this week I'm sharing this little piece with a positive quote. I feel like artwork like this is always a bit of a mood booster and I really enjoy creating landscapes that I kinda wish I could step into. As usual this is a digital collage piece.

Just a Little Practice
Last week I managed to squeeze in a little practice, I struggled this week, you know when you try and push through and create something anyway but I rather feel these pieces were good practice but definitely not my best work that's for sure! I'm also hoping that spring will finally get going here in the UK and I'll be able to get out into the garden more.

Waiting For Spring
Last week had been a bit of a weird one, despite being the 1st of March there was so much snow here in the UK so I created these pieces to cheer me up a little. Again these pieces are based on photos I took in the garden last year, digitally painted then adding textures and patterns for detailing.

Throwback Thursday Arctic Tern
Another 'Throwback Thursday' piece inspired by an art gallery exhibit I saw years ago of taxidermy animals turning back into nature. As someone who is passionate about animal welfare, I came up with an cruelty free alternative.
